It's nice to know a filipino gal can make traditional homemade apple pie. When I'm not lazy, I'm inspired to do the lattice work but only if I'm making one pie. Got the recipe from Tita Nora Daza's cookbook Galing Galing. That's my kitchen bible given to me by one of my Garcia Lolas from the PI.
I got help from husband to make my top crust nice and brown. Didn't make the photo after we baked it. Ate it too fast :)
