They used these giant water blasters called "monitors" back in the days of hydraulic gold mining. It was said that it was not outlawed - they just made it super hard to do it. At one point, all this mining flooded the town of Marysville.

In Nevada County - you can still see hitchhikers - seriously though they're out there - don't see much of that down in LA.

Classic Mom - "always in the way" j/k. Keep it clear Lola! Lola volunteers for LWW fire safety committee. Do not plant Scotch Broom - it's a green bush that has fragrant yellow flowers. It's been banned in Nevada County - it spreads like wildfire and is highly flammable even when green. We're working on trying to get rid of it in our area.
